Because most events are over within minutes, you must be prepared to deal with the situation quickly until law enforcement personnel arrive. Preparedness and awareness are the keys to protect you, your fellow employees, and your customers.

Given the legalization and increased access to cannabis in Canada and the US, there has been much confusion about cannabis laws and employer and employee rights and expectations when it comes to cannabis in the workplace. 

This Course is designed to provide an understanding of Canadian cannabis laws and an understanding of cannabis in the context of the workplace including accommodation requirements by employers, disclosure requirements by employees, best practices on how to discuss suspected impairment and regulations about drug testing at work in Canada.

This course will prepare you to work and live overseas. It explores the epidemiology of common morbidity and mortality among travelers and examines key prevention, safety, and travel medicine principles and services to contextualize risks and maintain wellness.

 The course reviews applicable interventions, appropriate vaccines, and personal protection methods to prepare you to respond to expected and unexpected situations and will challenge you to examine travel health and safety priorities through case studies and discussions.
