In this course, you will be introduced to the protocols of using handcuffs and restraints. A practical component will include preparation of the handcuffs, positions of safety, applications and care of the equipment. Upon successful completion you will understand the legal and practical knowledge to safely perform this task.
This covers the foundational basics of scene investigations as a criminal investigator. Understanding the importance, what to look for, and what to expect to find in the official investigations are talked about.
This field-level certification program is designed to acquaint participants with operational use of the ASP Tactical Baton, Tactical Restraints and/or Performance Flashlights. The training includes basic potation (carrying) and presentation (drawing) techniques as well as defensive application procedures. Certification acknowledges that the individual officer met a competency-based standard of knowledge and performance
The course will be specific to the needs of Law Enforcement, and will consist of several sections to provide your trainees with all the information they need to know. Our courses feature an introduction section with a briefing and pre-test, and a training section of all the necessary bike patrol techniques and safety procedures. They conclude with evaluations and a final test.
Emotionally Disturbed Persons (EDP) topic examines and explains nature of people with social, mental, or behavioral problems and equips cops with the tools they need to safely handle these subjects, many of whom are close to suicide. Dealing with an emotionally disturbed person can be one of the most challenging encounters for Law Enforcement.
Our certified instructors will teach you the approved curriculum that includes both lecture style and hands-on, practical learning. All materials and resources are provided for participants. There is a maximum ratio 1:8 for our instructors to ensure a personal experience. A course certificate is obtain upon completion of the course. .
This 80-hour course provides a more in-depth coverage of basic First Aid and also includes triage, rescue, advanced packaging, oxygen administration, and AED certification. It is ideal for workplace first aiders and response teams requiring a higher level of training and is approved by Workplace Health & Safety as meeting the requirements for Advanced First Aid.
Minimum age: 16 years.
STANDARD FIRST AID
This two-day course covers all the skills in Emergency First Aid plus first aid for other injuries and illnesses including head and spinal injuries, fractures of the upper and lower limbs. This course includes Level C CPR training and certification (Adult, Child, Infant, and 2-rescuer resuscitation) and AED training and certification.
EMERGENCY FIRST AID
In this one-day course, students will learn to recognize and provide interventions for life-threatening emergencies until medical aid arrives. Topics include: CPR and choking for adults, shock and unconsciousness, severe bleeding, head & spinal injuries, major medical conditions, and AED training and certification.
